2 killed in Habiganj road crash

Habiganj: Two people were killed when a bus rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Dhaka-Sylhet highway at Daulatpur in Bahubal upazila of Habiganj early on Wednesday.

The deceased are three-wheeler driver Farhad, in his twenties, and Nur Ali, in his forties, of Shankarpur village in the upazila.

The Sylhet-bound ‘Shyamoli Paribahan’ hit the auto-rickshaw around 5:00am, leaving Farhad and his passenger Nur dead on the spot, said Rajkumar, sub-inspector of Bahubal Police Station.

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to local hospital morgue.
