3 killed as bus plunges into Habiganj ditch

Nabiganj: Three people were killed as a bus plunged into a ditch at Nabiganj upazila in Habiganj on Thursday morning.

Two other people were also injured during the accident.

The Sherpur Highway Police Officer-in-charge (OC) Bimol Chandra Bhoumik said the accident took place on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway near model bazar area at about 8:50am.

However, identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

The injured were taken to MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital in Sylhet.
