Gazipur: Three people, including two employees of ACI company, were killed in a road accident at Hotapara in Sadar upazila of Gazipur on Thursday.

The deceased are Asaduzzaman, in his forties, administrative official of ACI company, Faridul Haque, in his fifties, an employee of the company and driver Rubel, in his thirties.

Wahiduzzaman, officer-in-charge of Naujor highway police camp, said the accident took place in the area around 11:30am when a microbus hit a stationary truck from behind, leaving all the microbus passengers dead on the spot.

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital morgue.
