Mymensingh blast victim dies at DMCH

Dhaka: A student of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), who suffered burn injuries in a blast in a building at Masterbari in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh on March 25, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early on Friday.
The deceased, Hafizur Rahman Hafiz, in his twenties, from Naogaon, succumbed to his injuries at the DMCH burn unit around 1:00am, said sub-inspector Bachchu Mia of DMCH police camp.
With this, the death toll from the incident rose to three.
Earlier on Wednesday, Shahin, a final year student of KUET, succumbed to his injuries at the burn unit of the hospital around 12:30am.
Mohammad Towhidul Islam, in his twenties, a final year student of KUET, was killed and three others, including Hafiz, received burn injuries in an explosion in a six-storey building at Masterbari in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh on March 25.
The injured were sent to the DMCH burn unit.
A case was filed against building owner Abdur Razzak.
