Dhaka: A sexagenarian woman was killed as a rashly driven truck ran over her at Mathartek intersection at Sabujbagh in Dhaka on Saturday morning, reports UNB.

Sabujbagh police officer-in-charge Kuddus Fakir said a speeding truck ran over the unidentified woman in the area at about 3:00am, leaving her severely injured.

The injured was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where she succumbed to her injures at about 6:00am.

Police arrested the truck driver.
