Savar: Four people, including a woman and her daughter, were killed in separate road accidents on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Savar on Monday night.

Two motorbike riders, Nahid Uzzaman and Yunus Ali, marketing officers of Shah Cement Company, were killed as the motorcycle carrying three people crushed under a truck and a fire service vehicle in Rajfulbaria area around 7:30am.

The accident left another motorcyclist critically injured who later was admitted to Enam Medical College Hospital here.

Meanwhile, a woman and her seven-month old daughter were killed when a speedy bus hit them in Bhakurta Turag Bridge area around 10pm, said Mohsinul Kadir, officer-in-charge of Savar Police Station.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

On information police recovered the bodies and sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
