Satkhira: Two motorcycle riders were killed and two others injured following a head-on collision between two motorbikes on Kaliganj-Shymganj road in Pirojpur Katakhali area of Kaliganj upazila in Satkhira on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Mannan Sarder, in his fifties, of Nijdebpur village and Nur Hossain, in his thirties, of Sonatola village.

Imran Mehedi Siddiq, assistant superintendent of police of Kaliganj circle, said two motorcycles collided head on in the area around 10:30am, leaving one from each of the motorcycles dead on the spot and two others—Tuhin and Shanto—injured.
