Natore: A man and a woman were killed when a truck ploughed through a restaurant at Srirampur in Baraigram upazila of Natore early on Thursday.

The deceased are Shah Mahmud, in his fifties, of Srirampur village and Hasina, in his forties, of Kayemkhola village in the upazila.

GM Shamsun Nur, officer-in-charge of Bonpara Highway Police, said a Pabna-bound fish-laden truck ploughed through a restaurant as its driver lost control over steering around 4:00am leaving two employees of the restaurant dead. 

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to local hospital.
