Gazipur: A speeding truck rammed into a motorcycle, leaving the biker dead at Tongi bus stand on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway on early Tuesday.

Enamul Haque, sub-inspector at Tongi Model Police Station, said a Gazipur-bound truck hit a motorcycle from behind in the area at about 2:00am, leaving biker Alauddin, a resident of Koromtala area in Gazipur city, dead on the spot.

Later, police recovered the body and handed over it to the victim’s family without autopsy, reports UNB.
