Dhaka: Three people, including a minor girl, were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a human-hauler at Goran Chatbari under Shah Ali Police Station in the city on Friday afternoon.

Two of the deceased were identified as Sibly Sadiq, 32, and Yeasin, 24, reports the UNB.

Tapan Kumar, sub-inspector of Shah Ali Police Station, said the collision took place around 2pm as the human-hauler (leguna) took the wrong side to overtake another leguna, leaving three people dead on the spot and eight others injured.

The injured were admitted at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital.
