Habiganj: Three people were killed and four others injured following a head on collision between a bus and a truck on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Haritola area of Habiganj on Tuesday morning.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The accident took place around 8 am when the stone-laden truck collided with a Sylhet-bound bus of ‘Shyamoli Paribahan’, leaving three bus passengers dead on the spot and four others injured, said Mohammad Jashim Uddin, officer-in-charge of Sayestaganj Highway Police.
