Mymensingh: Three people were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Mymensingh- Tangail road at Gabtoli in Muktagachha upazila of Mymensingh on Tuesday afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Ali Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Muktagachha Police Station, said the collision took place around 12:00pm, leaving two passengers dead on the spot and four others injured.

Later, one died on way to Mymenshing Medical College Hospital while the others were admitted there, he added.

Police seized the truck but its driver and helper managed to flee the scene, the OC said.
