Magura: Driver of a utility vehicle used for public transport was killed when a truck hit it on the Magura-Jhenidah road at Kachabazar in Sadar upazila of Magura on Friday.

The deceased is Joynal Hossain, in his thirties, of Satgacchia village in Jhenidah.

Elias Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said the accident took place around 8:00am.

A case was filed in this connection.
