Narail: A farmer was killed in a lightning strike at Kamargram of Lohagara upazila on Friday morning.

The deceased was identified as Babul Sheikh, 28, son of Mannan Sheikh, reports the UNB.

Locals said a thunderbolt struck Babul while he was working in a field near his house in the morning, leaving him dead on the spot.
