Three killed in road crash in Brahmanbaria
Brahmanbaria: Three young men were killed as a bus rammed a CNG-run auto rickshaw on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Malihata area in Sarail upazila on Saturday morning.
The deceased are Nosor Miah, 16, son of Khorshed Miah, Arman, 17, son of Faruk Miah, and auto-rickshaw driver Saidul, 19, son of Lukku Miah, residents Chor Chartola village in Ashuganj upazila.
Md Hossain Sarker, officer-in-charge of Khatihata highway Police Station, said the Dhaka-bound bus rammed the auto rickshaw around 6:15am, leaving Nosor Miah dead on the spot and Saidul and Arman critically injured.
Later, they were rushed to a local hospital.
As their condition deteriorated, Arman was admitted to Bhairab Upazila Health Complex and Saidul to Bajitpur Jahirul Islam Medical College Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries
