Dhaka: A garment worker was killed and 10 people were injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Bathuli Bus Stand in Dhamrai upazila on Thursday morning, reports UNB.

Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The Dhamrai police officer-in-charge Rizaul Hoque said the accident took place when a bus and a truck collided head-on at Bathuli Bus Stand at about 8:00am, leaving the garment worker dead and 10 others injured on the spot.

Nine of the injured were taken to a local hospital while another was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), the OC added.
