Magura: A man and his daughter were killed and five others were injured as a bus hit a three-wheeler at Kestopur area in Sadar upazila on Monday.

The deceased are Mamtaj Ali, 42, and his daughter Sumaiya, 7, of Harispur village in Khalisha upazila.

Officer-in-charge of Magura Police Station Ilias Hossain said a Jashore bound bus hit a three wheeler around 3 pm killing the father and his daughter on the spot and injuring five others.

The injured were admitted to Magure General Hospital.

The bodies were sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.
