4 compartments of Dhaka-Natore train derailed
Natore: Four compartments including the engine of a Dinajpur-bound Drutajan Express from Dhaka derailed near Abdulpur rail junction in Natore on Monday morning.
Natore rail station master Ashok Kumar Chakrabarti said three compartments and the engine of Drutajan Express train derailed after the train veered to a wrong track at about 9:30am.
Ashok Kumar said the rail link between Dhaka and North Bengal is normal as Abdulpur junction has several alternative rail tracks.
The station master said a salvage train from Ishwardi will go to the spot and will recover the derailed compartment.
However, no casualty has been recorded yet.
