Rajshahi: Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Godagari upazila in the district on Sunday.

The deceased are Emadad Hossain Chandu, 50, son of EmajUddin of Faradpur village in Godagari upazila, KhusbuTajnim, 14, daughter of Sanarul Islam of same village and meat trader Jashimuddin, 22, son of Toslim Uddin of Kasaipara area of Achuavata in the upazila.

Officer-in-charge of Godagari Model Police Station Jahangir Alam said a Chapainawabganj bound truck hit a motorcycle at Chhoyghati area, killing Emdad and Khusbu on the spot around 10 am.

Meanwhile, driver of another truck lost control over the steering and hit a roadside meat shop, killing Jashim on the spot.
