Bus-truck collision kills five

Bogra: Five people were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Gokul on Bogra-Rangpur Highway in Bogra on Saturday morning.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Bogra police officer in-charge Abul Bashar said the accident took place at about 10:00am when a bus collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction in the area, leaving five people dead on the spot and 10 others injured.

The injured were taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
