Rajshahi: A man and his grandson were killed and two others were injured in a collision between a motorcycle and an auto-rickshaw in Katakhali area of the city on Saturday morning.

The deceased were identified as Md Nazim, 50 and his grandson Arafat, 3, reports the UNB.

Mahedi Hasan, officer-in-charge of Katakhali Police station, said the motorcycle collided with the auto-rickshaw carrying Nazim, his wife and two grandsons on their way to a relative’s house, leaving Nazim dead on the spot and three others injured.

The injured were taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital and Arafat died on the way.
