Bogura: At least two people were killed when a truck plunged into a ditch after breaking the railing of a bridge in Shahjahanpur upazila on Wednesday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The Bogura-bound iron rod-laden truck from Chattogram plunged into a ditch after breaking the railing of the Futki Bridge on Dhaka-Bogura highway around 12 noon, leaving two people dead on the spot, said Zia Latiphul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shahjahanpur Police Station.
