Comilla: Two people were killed and eight others injured as a bus hit two CNG run auto-rickshaws on Comilla-Chandpur Highway in Borudar Chenghata Keshanpara area of Comilla on Sunday night, reports UNB.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

The Lalmai Highway police outpost in-charge sub-inspector Lutfur Rahman said a bus of Tisha Paribahan hit the auto-rickshaws on the highway in the area at night, leaving a passenger of an auto-rickshaw dead on the spot and nine injured.

The injured were admitted at Comilla Medical College Hospital where an injured died.
