Kushtia: Two minor girls were killed as a portion of an under-construction wall collapsed on them on Monday evening at Gongabar Kandi village in Sadar upazila.

The deceased were identified as Liza, 3, daughter of Emarul Haque and Mariam, 3, daughter of late Moshiur Rahman, reports the UNB.

Ratan Sheikh, officer-in-charge of Islami University Police Station, said that a portion of a wall of an under construction building of one Fazlur Rahman of the area collapsed on Liza and Mariam while they were playing beside it, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
