Steps to be taken to resolve Rohingya, other issues: Shahriar Alam
Dhaka: State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam on Tuesday said the government will continue to take effective steps to address pending issues including resolving the Rohingya crisis.
‘Everything is our priority,’ he told reporters at his office, reports the UNB.
The state minister also gave importance to economic diplomacy and other core areas.
Shahriar Alam also hoped that Rohingya repatriation process based on the agreed list of verified Rohingyas will begin soon.
Responding to a question, he said efforts will continue to bring back convicted BNP leader Tarique Rahman as the government believes in rule of law.
