Dhaka: A man was crushed under the wheels of a speeding CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Tejgaon area of Dhaka on Sunday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased is Suruj Miah, 45, son of Akbar Hossain, a resident of Nakhalpara in the city.

Witnesses said the accident took place when a CNG-run auto-rickshaw hit Suruj while he was crossing the road in front of the Prime Minister’s Office at about 7:00am, leaving him injured.

Later, he was whisked off to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to the injuries at about 7:30am.
