Dhaka: A fire broke out at a residential building in the city’s Banani area on Friday a day after the devastating fire incident in the same area.

The fire originated from a kitchen of a six storey building around 2:30pm, said Station Officer Rasel Sikdar of Fire Service and Civil Defence, reports the UNB.

Two fire service units from the headquarters rushed to the spot and doused the fire within a short time, the officer added.
