Dhaka: A fire broke out at a bag factory in the city’s Mirpur-14 area on Sunday afternoon.

Duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence central control room Ershad said the fire originated at the bag factory on the 5th floor of the 10-storey building around 5:17pm, reports the UNB. 

On information, 15 firefighting units rushed in to douse the fire, he said, adding that the fire could not spread to any other floor.

There was no report of any casualty in the fire, Ershad said.
