Pilot killed, 2 missing in Cox's Bazar air crash

Chittagong: A pilot was killed as a private cargo aircraft crashed in Cox’s Bazar, around 302km south-east of Dhaka, with four people on board on Wednesday morning.
Members of Bangladesh Navy, Air force, Coast guard and fire fighters are working to recover the rubbles of the air craft.
Two passengers of the plane were rescued and taken to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital, where the pilot died.
It has been known from the hospital’s record the pilot Gufrat is a citizen of Russia, while his co-pilot Vladimir is admitted to the hospital.
Fire service station in-charge Abdul Majid said two passengers of the cargo plane are still missing.
Shah Amanat Airport manager Wing Commader Riazul Kabir said the aircraft of private organisation, True Aviation, left from Cox’s Bazar Airport at about 9:05am.
The flight carrying shrimp lost contact with the control tower 10 minutes after take-off.
Later, the plane found crashed at Nazirtek sea point area, which is 10mile west of Cox’s Bazar.
