Gazipur: Suspended mayor of Gazipur City Corporation MA Mannan and his three companions suffered minor injuries in a road accident in the city’s Meghdubi area on Friday noon.

Central Swechchhasebak Dal leader Hasibur Rahman Munna said a truck crashed into the jeep of Mannan in the area on his way to the city from his capital residence, according to a UNB report.

The accident left the suspended mayor, his personal assistant M Billal Hossain, Munna and the jeep driver injured.

The injured received first aid.
