3 siblings found dead in Brahmanbaria
Brahmanbaria: Local people recovered the bodies of three siblings, who went missing on Tuesday, from the River of Bemalia at Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased are Sultana, around 7 years old, Raza, who was 6 years old, and Badshah, aged around 4 years, residents if Telianagar in Sharail.
Local people said the three children went missing from Nasirnagar as they went to visit their sister’s residence there.
They said Raza drowned while taking a bath in the river and later Badsha and Sultana also fell into the river as they went to rescue others.
However, local people discovered the bodies floating on the river at about 12:30pm and called police.
The district superintendent of police Mizanur Rahman said primarily it has been believed that the siblings died after drowned in the river.
