Satkhira: Two people were killed as an oil tanker rammed their motorcycle at Patkelghata on the Satkhira-Khulna Highway in Tala upazila of Satkhira on Thursday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased are Ekabbar Sheikh, resident of Kumira village, and Rahim Biswas, of Manaharpur village.

The Patkelghata police officer-in-charge Tariqul Islam said the oil tanker hit the motorcycle near Kumira High School at about 10:00am, leaving the driver and the pillion rider of the motorcycle dead on the spot.
