Dhaka: A fire broke out at a market in the capital’s Kafrul area on Friday.

Fire Service Control Room duty officer Bhajan Kumar Sarkar said the fire originated in shops of a local market at Babubazar at about 11:10am.

On information, five firefighting units went to the spot and brought the blaze under control at about 11:40 am.
