Habiganj: Three children drowned in a pond at Dhal village in Habiganj sadar upazila on Wednesday.

Jibon, 5, son of Zahat Mia, Hifzo, 4, daughter of Amir Mia and Ruma, 5, daughter of Awlad Mia of the village slipped into the pond and drowned while playing near it, said local UP chairman Farhad Hossain Abbas.

Local people found the bodies floating in the pond, reported UNB.
