Comilla: Three people, including two women, were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Natherpetua on the Comilla-Noakhali regional Highway in Monohorganj upazila of Comilla on Tuesday morning, reports UNB.

Lalmai Highway police camp in-charge Sub-Inspector Lutfar Rahman said the accident took place at about 7:00am when the Noakhali-bound bus collided with the auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction, leaving a woman dead on the spot and five other people critically injured.

Another woman and a man died on way to Comilla Medical College Hospital

Three others injured were admitted to the hospital.

All the victims were riders of the auto-rickshaw.
