Munshiganj: A young boy was killed in a road accident at Baluakandi on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj on Wednesday morning, reports BSS.

The deceased Abdul Awual Roni, 17, was a son of Mukter Ali, a resident of Talla Thana in Satkhira district.

Police said the accident occurred when a speedy truck ran over Roni in the area when he was crossing the road. Roni died on the spot.
