Natore: Workers of the state-owned sugar mills Natore Sugar Mills staged a demonstration in front of the factory on Wednesday morning to press home their six-point demand.

Workers of the mills, led by the president of the mills CBA Mohhamad Habibullah and general secretary Nazim Uddin, gathered at the gate in the morning and started demonstration.

Their six-point demand includes fixing Tk8,750 as the minimum salary.

The protesters also threatened to go for a tougher movement if their demand is not met immediately.
