2 killed in Natore road accident

Natore: Two persons were killed and four others injured in a road accident at Rejore crossing on Bonpara-Hathikumrul highway on Thursday noon, reports BSS.

Boraigram police officer-in-charge Monirul Islam said the accident took place when a Natore-bound private car from Nayabazar area dashed a roadside tree at Rejore crossing and fell into road side ditch.

Following the accident two persons died on spot and four others injured. Two victims are Mondal Mehdi Hasan, 28, son of late Abdul Ahad and driver of private car Shahabuddin Ahmed, 30, son of late Ansar Ali.

Receiving information fire fighters from Natore rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies of the victims and injured persons with the help of local people.

Injured persons were admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
