Jessore: A college student died after falling from the rooftop of a building at Pashchim Barandi Nathpara in Jessore town on Saturday evening.

The deceased is Abdul Foysal, 22, a Year-2 student of Hamidpur Degree College, and son of Ariful Islam of the area.

Ariful Islam, father of the deceased, said Foysal fell off the roof of the three-storey building while he was feeding pigeons in the evening and was critically injured.

Later he was rushed to Jessore Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
