Lakshmipur: A truck driver was killed and three others were injured in a road accident in Kurirbari area under Raipur upazila of the district on early Sunday, reports BSS.

The deceased is Rabiul Islam, 28, son of Razzak of Thanakata area of Satkhira.

Local people said the accident occurred as a truck fell into a roadside ditch at about 4:00am, killing Rabiul dead on the spot and three injured.

The injured were admitted to Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital.

Raipur police station officer-in-charge Lokman Hossain said the body was sent to the Hospital for postmortem.
