Drive on to rescue boy falling into Mirpur sewer

Dhaka: The operation to rescue a four-year-old boy, Zunayed Hossain Sabbir, who fell into a sewer in Dhaka’s Mirpur area on Thursday, has resumed this morning after a seven hours’ pause.
Four divers from Fire Service started again the operation at about 7:30am, said sources from Fire Service Control Room.
Earlier, Zunayed Hossain Sabbir, son of Amir Hossain, fell into the sewer near Mirpur Commerce College in Mirpur 2 at about 8:40 pm.
On information, three fire-fighting teams and divers went to the spot to conduct a rescue operation.
As they could not find the whereabouts of the boy, the rescue operation was suspended at about 1:00am.
