Rajshahi: A Bangladeshi national was shot to death by members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Char Kanaipara border area under Godagari upazila in Rajshahi on early Friday, reports UNB.

The deceased is Abul Kalam, 30, son of Kadam Ali of the area and a cattle trader.

Abu Farhad, officer-in-charge of Godagari Police Station, said BSF troops opened fire on Kalam after he went to the area for bringing cattle, leaving him injured.

He was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where doctor declared him dead, said the OC.
