Dhaka: A Dhaka University (DU) employee fell to his death from the third floor of a staff quarter building of the university in Nilkhet area on Saturday morning.

The man, Abdul Wahab, 58, senior technical officer of transport sector of the DU, fell from the third floor at about 6:00am while he was watering his garden, family and hospital sources said.

He was taken to emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the attending doctors declared him dead.
