Dhaka: All the schools and colleges in Dhaka’s  Kalyanpur area where nine suspected militants were killed in police firing during an operation by a special team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) early Tuesday, have been closed out of a security concern, reports UNB.

Holy Crescent Model School Headmaster S Ahmed Khan Saiful said guardians got scared at the incident and called me.

‘I contacted the authorities of a good number of schools and colleges in the neighbourhood and we reached a decision to keep the institutions shut for the day on security ground,’ said the headmaster.
