3 kids drown in 3 districts

Dhaka: Three children drowned in separate incidents in Joypurhat, Sirajganj, and Munshiganj on Friday, reports UNB.
In Joypurhat, a minor boy drowned in a pond of Bara Tajpur-Shonarpara village in Sadar upazila in the morning.
The deceased is Rifat Hossain, 10, son of Babul Hossain of the village. He was a student of Class-III.
Quoting witnesses, Joypurhat Sadar Police officer-in-charge Farid Hossain said Rifat went to the pond near his house with his classmates to take a bath and drowned at about 10:30am.
Locals rescued him floating and whisked him off to hospital where duty doctors declared him dead, the OC added.
In Sirajganj, Trisha Khatun, 4, daughter of Selim Reja of Salap village in Ullapara upazila, died as she fell into floodwater at her courtyard in the morning.
Locals recovered her floating body in the afternoon.
In Munshiganj, Araf, 3, son of Iqbal Miah of Sanbari village in Tognibari upazila, drowned in a pond adjacent to their house at about 5:00pm.
Local people found Araf floating and took him to Tongibari Health Complex where duty doctors declared him dead.
