Chittagong: A worker died falling from a seven-storey under- construction building at Nayahat Bank Colony of city’s EPZ area on Monday, reports UNB.

The deceased is Sumon Barua, 36, son of Upali Barua of Dighinala in Khagrachhari.

Quoting local people, Hamidur Rahman, nayek of Chittagong Medical College Hospital Police camp, said Sumon fell while working on a bamboo scaffolding on the seventh floor of the building at about 10:00am.

He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
