5 killed in truck-auto-rickshaw clash in Pabna

Pabna: Five people were killed as a mini-truck collided head on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Bera upazila in Pabna on Monday morning.
The Aminpur Police Officer-in-charge Tajul Huda said a Pabna-bound sand-laden mini truck collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw as it neared Ahmedpur on the western side of Kashinathpur Bridge at about 7:30am and left four killed.
Later, another injured died on the way to hospital.
The deceased, three women and two men, were all passengers of the auto-rickshaw.
Two other people were also injured during the accident.
The dead bodies and injured were taken to Bera upazila Health Complex. Identities of the victims could not be known immediately.
