Panchagarh: A female school teacher was killed in a road accident at Boroshoshi area under Boda upazila of Panchagarh on Sunday.

The deceased is Rimi Akter, 28, wife of Monwar Hossain of Bogduljula village.

Eye-witness said that Rimi and her husband were going to Boda sadar by a motorbike to withdraw Eid bonus.

When they reached near Boda, Rimi fell down from the motorcycle and was critically injured.

Local people took her to Panchagarh sadar hospital where on duty doctor declared her dead.

Her husband and their three month-old baby were also injured. Rimi is an assistant teacher of Balapara government primary school.
