Jhenaidah: At least 30 people were injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck in Markaz Mosque area of Jhenaidah town on Sunday.

The Kurigram-bound BRTC bus from Satkhira hit a roadside electric pole after a collision with a truck at noon, leaving 30 passengers of the bus, including its driver and supervisor injured, said Delip Kumar Sarkar, station master of Jhenaidah Fire Service.

Seven of the injured were taken to Sadar Hospital.
