Sirajganj: A minor boy was killed in a lightning strike at Purbo Delua village in Ullapara upazila on Monday morning.

The deceased is Rasel, 9, son of Habibur Rahman of the village.

Quoting locals, UNB reported that a thunderbolt struck Rasel at about 11:00am while he was playing near his house amid rain, leaving him dead on the spot.
